A New Beginning
Hey All!
Well, the semester has ended. and by this time, you would be exhibiting your works at the gallery. Due to the holidays and semester breaks, we couldnt make it an event. but we will see greater opportunities next semester which is just around the corner.
I have enjoyed this semester getting to know all of you. To be honest, its so very difficult to 'assess' anyone as you are all so different. Every individual has the capacity to survive out there in the rough and tough world. You all do. But before you all get out there, you need to be molded and you need to perservere. Perseverence builds character.
A design student good with aesthetics but have no character, is not a designer. A designer understands the fundamentals of improving the quality of life and lifestyle. You present outloook on the world will change when you experience this journey with your mind, body and most importnatly your heart. Good grades and good results should not be your only motivation. A good portfolio depends on your character. A good tree bears good fruit.
But what makes a good tree is the soil. Seeds of knowledge and experience must be sown on good soil, not on hardened rock, dry sand, thorny ground or the ocean. Therefore, please prepare your hearts to receive great things and opportunities to make your team shunned by all.
It s just a matter of time, you designs would be notice by many and recognized by the elite. However, to get there, we need to work TOGETHER. Only together, we can build this school into a great design school. The best, not only in technology, but in designing great minds, such as yours :)

Thank you all for your blog posts. Although there was only a few posts, they somehow 'spoke' on behalf of the class. But I can only award bonus points for the ones who posted. hopefully next time I can expect more from the rest.
